OZ Lifting Unveils Enhanced Tele-Pro Davit Crane Line
OZ Lifting has relaunched its popular Tele-Pro davit crane, now available in 500- pound, 1,200-pound and
2,500-pound capacities. The new models feature five key upgrades aimed at improving user experience and safety, including smoother boom operation underload, enhanced maneuverability, clearer capacity limits, an industrial high-visibility powder coat and simplified maintenance.
A newly added handle allows for easier 360-degree load rotation, giving users more control. The cranes also feature a new dual-rating system with imperial and metric capacities, ensuring clearer, global accessibility. A high-visibility yellow powder coat enhances visibility and corrosion resistance, making the cranes more durable and easier to spot in lowlight conditions.

the complexities of working in urban environments, including clearance issues and underground utilities. Initially, the crane was positioned next to the roof work area, but concerns over loading impacts led to a reevaluation, resulting in a more suitable location further down the street that required a longer luffing jib configuration.
In the competition, Brian Sweeney from J. F. Stearns Company secured second place for his plan regarding the Landmark Center and Tower Crane Assembly, while Dylan Nabors from Titan Crane & Rigging took third place for his work on the Travis Air Force Base ETV Warehouse Project.
“ We choose this particular crane because of its strong luffing jib capabilities and capacities,” Anderson continued.“ It is also one of the only cranes left in its class that you do not have to launch the main boom in the Pacific Northwest.”
The Grove GMK6450-1 all-terrain is a six-axle crane with a 500-ton capacity, a 197-foot main boom and a 448-foot maximum tip height. The machine’ s self-rigging MegaWingLift eliminates the need for an assist crane and then can be outfitted with the manufacturer’ s MAXbase variable outrigger positioning system to increase main boom capacities.
