Truck Crane Breakthrough
The Fassi F2350RL-HXP Techno knuckleboom crane is a platform for the next generation of heavy lifting
Behind the design of the new Fassi F2350RL-HXP Techno knuckleboom crane, according to Jason Harlow, Fassi product manager at Fascan International, is the convergence of engineering, technology and innovation.
“ At first glance, the Fassi F2350RL- HXP Techno might appear to be just another truck-mounted crane,” Harlow said.“ But it stands apart not only as the most powerful unit Fassi has ever built, but also as their first knuckleboom crane to feature a double jib and 19 hydraulic extensions. This isn’ t merely an upgrade; it represents a true leap forward in capability.”
Engineered for installation on vehicles of around 42 tons, the stowed length of the Fassi F2350RL-HXP Techno remains under 33 feet. For operators, Harlow noted, that balance between compact dimensions and reach enhances both maneuverability and performance.
At the core of the F2350RL-HXP Techno is advanced technological architecture. For example, Harlow pointed to the crane’ s X-Design decagonal boom section that optimizes load distribution and reduces weight without compromising strength.
“ The result is superior lifting capability, especially in vertical orientations where stress can otherwise undermine performance,” Harlow said.“ This crane is also the first model in its range to apply X-Design technology to the hydraulic jib.”
The new Fassi F2350RL-HXP Techno features the Fassi FX990 electronic control system.“ Paired with integrated machine control and the Fassi FX991 touchscreen interface, the FX990 enables highly responsive, intuitive motion management,” Harlow explained.“ The result is a blend of power and precision that enhances both operational efficiency and on-site safety.”

The new Fassi F2350RL-HXP Techno knuckleboom crane has a maximum outreach that exceeds 170 feet, while lifting capacity reaches approximately 66,138 pounds in optimal configurations. The crane also enables tip heights approaching 190 feet, depending on setup.
