Mazzella Companies Acquires Piedmont Hoist & Crane
Mazzella Companies announced the acquisition of Piedmont Hoist & Crane, based in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. This acquisition enhances Mazzella’ s position as a leading manufacturer of overhead cranes and lifting equipment in North America.

Barnhart Crane & Rigging Co. Makes First International Acquisition
Barnhart Crane & Rigging Co. has expanded internationally for the first time by acquiring NCSG of Acheson, Alberta, Canada.
Founded in 1987 as Northern Crane Services, NCSG operates eight branches across Western Canada’ s energy corridor, including locations in Alberta,
British Columbia, and Saskatchewan, and employs about 400 workers.
This acquisition is Barnhart’ s largest to date.

Brooke’ s House, a rehabilitation center in Hagerstown, Maryland, dedicated to aiding women in recovery, recently received a generous donation of $ 100,000 from Manitowoc and an additional $ 50,000 from its dealers and customers.
The partnership between Brook’ s House and Manitowoc has been mutually beneficial, as Manitowoc employs nearly 20 Brooke’ s House graduates, providing them with valuable occupational skills and job training while they recover from substance abuse.
