Dealer Spotlight
Select Crane Sales the company officially became a Tadano Authorized Dealer, a Favelle Favco tower crane dealer, and added the Jekko mini crane line to their product offerings. Their comprehensive inventory of new and used cranes includes all-terrain, rough terrain, crawler, tower, and mini cranes, as well as boom trucks.
“ Clients need confidence that the support is there once the crane goes to work,” Mackenzie stated.“ That may mean finding the right crane for a particular application, meeting short term needs through a bare rental, locating a part quickly, troubleshooting a service issue, or helping solve an equipment-related challenge. Downtime is expensive in this industry. When a crane is not working, it can affect an entire jobsite.
“ Being able to support clients through sales, rental, parts, and service allows us to look at the bigger picture and help them find solutions that make the most sense for their operation,” Mackenzie said.“ Mobile service, for example, has become increasingly important because clients need support at the jobsite when an issue comes up. Transporting a crane back to one of our shops is not always practical, and in many cases, it can add significant time and cost to an already disruptive situation.
“ Being able to send a technician helps reduce downtime and get the crane back to work faster,” Mackenzie continued.“ Our mobile service is focused primarily within about a 150-mile radius of each of our branches, and it also gives us the ability to support other crane owners and contractors working in those areas, even if they aren’ t an existing client. moving, that is a valuable resource for the industry and the local market.”
Building Partnerships
Also important to Select Crane Sales, according to Mackenzie, is to create longer-term relationships.“ We do not want a relationship with a client to begin and end with a purchase,” he said.“ Our goal is to be a resource throughout the life of the crane and as their fleet and business continue to evolve. That full-service approach has become an increasingly important part of Select Crane Sales today and where we see the company continuing to grow.”
Rather than just focusing on growth, however, as it celebrates its tenth anniversary Select Crane Sales is giving back.“ Paying it forward helps create opportunities for the next generation while also supporting the communities where our employees, clients, and their families live and work,” Mackenzie said.
“ The crane industry is built on relationships,” Mackenzie added.“ Clients, manufacturers, technicians, operators, and employees all contribute to its success, and we believe companies that grow within this industry also have a responsibility to support its future.”
As part of their tenth anniversary celebration, Select Crane Sales is hosting equipment promotions and demonstrations at company locations in Fort Pierce, Florida, Branchburg, New Jersey, and Ashland, Virginia.
