Both Link-Belt lattice crawlers are offered with an optional HVAC Auxiliary Power Unit( APU), which powers the LML display, cameras, lighting, radio, and climate controls, without running the main engine.“ This feature reduces fuel consumption and lowers engine hours while keeping the operator comfortable during idle time,” Dawson said.“ The APU also extends the time between maintenance intervals for the cranes’ Cummins QSB6.7 Stage V / Tier 4 Final engines.”
The new Link-Belt 248 | V lattice boom crawler has a 200-ton capacity and boom lengths from 55 to 275 feet.
