Product Focus: Slingmax Helix High-Performance Synthetic Roundsling

Millwrights, riggers and construction workers constantly run into this scenario: they have a trusted synthetic lifting sling, but it’ s too wide to fit in a trunnion, shackle or other constricted lifting points. This creates unnecessary downtime for workers and complicates otherwise simple rigging procedures.

The Slingmax Helix High-Performance Synthetic Roundsling is a lightweight, synthetic fiber high-performance roundsling that can be used in countless work environments— but most importantly, in tighter rigging applications where traditional synthetic slings aren’ t an option.

While it has a significantly smaller profile and narrower diameter than other slings, the lightweight Helix doesn’ t sacrifice strength or durability. It has a vertical rated capacity up to 200,000 pounds and its core is made from K-Spec Core Fiber, an incredibly durable, strong yet lightweight material that is three times stronger than nylon or polyester fibers.

Additionally, Helix slings feature Rifled Cover Technology, which increases the strength of the load bearing core fibers by 17 %, helping the Helix sling achieve a comparable diameter to strength ratio as wire rope that is much lighter to handle.
