The fund was created by Jennifer Gabel, daughter of James Lomma, to honor her father’ s legacy and support continued investment in the crane and rigging industry.
James Lomma was a recognized leader in the crane and rigging industry and received the SC & RA Golden Achievement Award in 2014. He was widely regarded by peers as a figure of integrity, compassion and principle. Throughout his career, he invested in emerging ideas, contributed time and resources as a volunteer and worked collaboratively to help shape industry regulations.
He was known for navigating complex challenges with diplomacy, showing perseverance through adversity and focusing on service rather than recognition.
The James Lomma Legacy Endowment Fund is intended to preserve and extend the values associated with Lomma’ s career, including integrity, compassion, service and a commitment to excellence.
