Collecting Air Miles

This July issue of Crane Hot Line has been a fun yet challenging one to put together. Inside, you will find three( yes, three!), event reviews— WOLFFKRAN’ s customer day and innovation showcase in Houston, Texas; the Electric Utility Fleet Managers Conference( EUFMC), in Williamsburg, Virginia, and Liebherr’ s 2024 Customer Days, which took place overseas.
For us, not only does that mean we racked up a ton of air miles, but it also means a good portion of this issue was put together on the road, in airplanes and outside of the country.
Although it may have been a challenging issue to complete by deadline, it has been a very rewarding one to put together. Having the ability to meet with so many people in the crane industry has been a joy that hopefully leads to career-long relationships, as well as life-long friendships.
Coverage of Crane Hot Line’ s travels isn’ t the only thing this issue has to offer though. We also talk about working safely in the heat, which is a topic to take extremely seriously, especially through the rest of the summer.
Plus, you definitely won’ t want to miss our spotlight crane feature! This issue, it’ s teleboom crawler cranes taking the limelight.
You will also find that there are a few other articles inside this edition of Crane Hot Line not mentioned here, and I know you’ ll love reading them too. So, start flipping through pages— you never know what might pique your interest!
