Essential Protection for Every Move
Harnesses and helmets that combine safety and comfort
In an industry where safety is paramount, advancements in equipment are crucial for crane and rigging professionals. Safety harnesses and helmets are designed to protect workers in highrisk environments.
With regulations tightening and workplace safety demands rising, proper gear is essential. Beyond compliance, these products meet evolving industry standards and help minimize accidents and injuries, reflecting the ongoing commitment to worker protection.

SBI-SALA ExoFit X200
The 3M DBI-SALA ExoFit X200 is a full-body safety harness designed for day-to-day work at height for crane operators and other crews working in elevated or confined spaces. The harness includes revolving torso buckles that allow workers to adjust the fit quickly and lock the webbing in place, helping maintain stability throughout a shift. An anti-sliding dorsal D-ring pad is designed to reduce movement, a frequent issue that can affect a harness’ s performance under load.
The X200 also incorporates an easylink self-retracting lifeline( SRL) adapter, which allows personal self-retracting lifelines to be connected or removed without handling excess hardware. This reduces the time workers spend switching equipment and may limit the chance of incorrect attachment in the field.
The X200 is part of the broader ExoFit line, which is built around achieving consistent fit and function across varied job conditions. According to 3M, the series continues to evolve through engineering updates and feedback from active jobsites, with an expanding range of configurations— more than 400 harness options across the X100, X200 and X300 lines. While the X200 shares this platform of standardized components and materials, its defining features focus on adjustability, connection efficiency and maintaining secure positioning at height.
Advanced ComforTech Gel 1D 7080B
Crane crews who rely on fall protection for long shifts may find the Advanced ComforTech Gel 1D 7080B harness centered on comfort as much as compliance. The most visible feature, the gel endoskeleton, is built into the shoulder yoke and sub-pelvic pads, designed to reduce fatigue in areas that often experience pressure during overhead or suspended work. The harness adjusts with aluminum camlock torso adjusters and tongue-buckle leg straps with nine grommeted settings, giving workers a broad range of fit options.
A forged aluminum dorsal D-ring provides the main attachment point and meets a 5,000-pound minimum static strength. The dorsal sleeve is built to accept personal self-retracting lifelines without additional connectors, and a quick-connect chest buckle includes a visual indicator to confirm proper engagement.
The 7080B also includes a suspension trauma relief system meant to assist a worker who is suspended after a fall until help arrives. Its components, including polyester webbing, aluminum alloy hardware and plated alloy steel, meet the required strength ratings, including a minimum static strength of 3,600 pounds. The harness complies with ANSI Z359.11- 2014, OSHA 1926.502, OSHA 1910.140 and CSA Z259.10-2018, with user capacity
