LiftHigh Crane Expands Credit Facility and Texas Footprint
LiftHigh Crane & Rigging, LLC has expanded its revolving credit facility from $ 10 million to $ 20 million following an amendment completed with The Huntington National Bank.
The increased credit capacity is intended to support the company’ s capital investment strategy, fleet expansion and geographic growth across the Mid- Continent and Gulf Coast regions.
Alongside the financing update, LiftHigh announced plans for a new Central Texas branch located at 846 York Creek Road in New Braunfels, Texas. The site is positioned between the Austin and San Antonio metropolitan areas and will support crane services, specialty rigging, storage and project staging operations.
The new location is expected to serve multiple sectors, including manufacturing, infrastructure, power generation, telecommunications, commercial construction, energy and data center development. customers throughout southeast Texas.
As part of the expanded territory, Doggett will represent Link-Belt’ s full line of rough terrain, hydraulic truck, all terrain, lattice crawler and telescopic crawler cranes. The company will also provide aftermarket support, including parts availability, maintenance, inspections and field service.
According to Link-Belt, the expansion is intended to strengthen customer access to crane sales, service and technical support in one of the country’ s largest construction and industrial markets.
Liebherr Displayed Rough Terrain Crane at Newport News Fourth of July Celebration
Liebherr USA showcased its LRT 1130- 2.1 rough terrain crane during the City of Newport News’“ Stars in the Sky” Fourth of July celebration on July 4 at Victory Landing Park. The event honored VA250, which commemorates the 250th anniversary of the American Revolution in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
According to Liebherr, the crane was displayed flying the American flag as part of the community celebration, which included live entertainment, local food vendors and a fireworks display along the James River.
The LRT 1130-2.1 is a rough terrain crane designed for off-road applications. Liebherr said the crane offers high lifting capacity, fast telescoping technology and transportability for construction, mining and heavy lifting applications. The model is part of the company’ s broader U. S. portfolio, which spans 10 product segments, including construction machinery, cranes and component technologies.
Liebherr USA has been headquartered in Newport News since 1970 and serves customers across approximately one-third of the U. S.
The company also used the event to highlight career opportunities for engineers, skilled trades professionals, logistics specialists and veterans.

The Caldwell Group Inc. has expanded its In-Stock program with additional Model 16 Adjustable Spreader / Lifting Beams and Model 20 Low- Headroom Multiple-Spread Lifting Beams, increasing the availability of below-the-hook lifting products for crane operators and rigging professionals.
The new additions join Caldwell’ s existing inventory of U. S.-made below-the-hook lifters and Renfroe clamps, as well as RUD slings and lifting points. According to the company, hundreds of products are available through the In-Stock program, with many items shipping within one business day at no additional freight cost.
Three Model 16 Adjustable Spreader / Lifting Beams have been added to the program. The products offer lifting capacities ranging from 2 tons to 5 tons and feature minimum to maximum spreads between 48 inches and 96 inches. The beams include adjustable lifting points, are designed to handle wide and unbalanced loads and offer low-headroom capabilities. Shackles are included with the assemblies.
Caldwell has also added six Model 20 Low-Headroom Multiple-Spread Lifting Beams with capacities ranging from 5 tons to 10 tons and maximum spreads from 72 inches to 120 inches. The company said the beams are used across manufacturing, industrial and construction applications.
