How To Locate Information In This Guide:

SPECIFICATIONS

Step 1- Go to the section of the manufacturer desired. Step 2- Look up the model number.

SERIAL NUMBERS

When available, serial numbers are located after the crane model specifications. A beginning serial number is given for each year that a crane is produced. The actual year that the crane was manufactured can be determined by comparing the crane’ s serial number to the serial numbers given for your particular model number. Example- If your Terex RT450 crane serial number begins with 12426, it would be a 2001 model... see example to the right.

PRICING

RETAIL PRICE- Pricing is derived from industry research, primarily equipment advertised in the marketplace. Retail price is the average price at which that model is advertised.

ESTIMATED LOAN- Formulated average of what a financial institution might lend on that particular model.

AUCTION RANGE- This is the low bid and the high bid, regardless of age, for equipment that has been sold at auction. The average is an accumulation of all prices of a certain model, after omitting the equipment deemed to be in lesser than fair condition.

Since the carrier is often a large portion of the advertised price for boom trucks, this guide does not publish prices for them.
